Awash with symbolism, four floral patterns featuring the lily, peony, chrysanthemum and daffodil, are overlaid onto self-portrait’s iconic bouclé jackets. Hand-embroidered in Suzhou, China’s historic heartland for textile embroidery where this artisanry dates back millennia, the jackets are made using silk threads accented with gold and silver foil for a luxurious finish.
